Delete my account


    Introduction:
    On this page you can request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data. Please read the information below before proceeding to understand what will be deleted, what will be retained, and how we will verify your request.

    What we do when you delete your account:
    • We will delete your profile and all personal data that directly identifies you (name, email address, profile picture, etc.).
    • We will delete your personal content wherever possible (posts, comments, plans, etc.). Some data may remain in backups for a limited period to meet legal or security requirements (see the “Exceptions” section).
    • Once deletion is complete, you will not be able to recover the account or its content. If you wish to keep any information, export or download your data before requesting deletion (see the “Export data” section).

    Deletion timeframe:
    We process requests within a maximum of 30 business days from verification of the request. In practice, many deletions are completed sooner; we will notify you by email once the process is finished.

    What we retain and why (exceptions):
    • Anonymous or aggregated data fragments for statistical purposes and service improvement.
    • Data retained to comply with legal obligations (for example, invoicing or fraud prevention) for the applicable statutory periods. This data will be properly pseudonymized or anonymized whenever possible.

    Identity verification (abuse prevention):
    To prevent fraudulent deletions, we will ask you to verify the request using the email associated with your account or by signing in. If the account does not have a verified email, we will request minimal additional information to confirm ownership.

    How to request deletion (available methods):
    1. Self-service in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. (Recommended: if you delete from the app, the process is faster.)
    2. Email: Send an email from the address associated with the account to info@blautic.com with the subject “Account deletion request”, including your username.

    Legal notice:
    By requesting deletion, you consent to the permanent and irreversible removal of the specified data, except for the exceptions detailed above. This action may affect your access to associated services and data (loss of subscriptions, history, shared content).
