SensorFusion: Research for the simultaneous sensing of the human body using bioelectrical and optical technologies, with advanced pattern analysis through Machine Learning

In November 2025, the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) granted us the SENSOR FUSION project, which represents a significant challenge in the development of advanced technology for biometric measurements.

The goal of the project is to create a complete and adaptable technological solution that combines Electromyography (EMG), ECG, Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) with Short Separation Channels (SSC), Bioimpedance, and Inertial Sensors (IMU), all integrated into a single portable and easy-to-use system, featuring advanced data pattern analysis through Machine Learning.

The technology is designed so that companies and institutions can integrate it directly into their own products, services, or business models, whether as a tool for assessment, monitoring, rehabilitation, research, or advanced training.

This system is complemented by a smart, reusable, washable textile support that ensures precise and stable sensor placement on any area of the body, maintaining user comfort and eliminating motion artifacts.

Finally, the technology incorporates an artificial intelligence platform capable of jointly analyzing muscular, hemodynamic, and kinematic signals, identifying patterns and correlations that can be immediately applied in professional environments.
