Hardware
Design of multiple electronic devices of reduced dimensions with wireless transmission, sensor reading and generation of beacons for indoor localization. 5V or battery power supply depending on the nodes. Gateway for transmission to server.
Firmware
The electronic devices have embedded firmware that performs hardware configuration, power control, sensor reading and wireless communications implementation.
Sensors
Incident light level sensor, ambient temperature sensor, CO level measurement sensor and pressure sensor for seat usage identification. Proximity/location sensors via wireless beacons.
Software
Data storage and representation server (Scala + JavaFX). Android APP that allows wireless programming of the devices and representation of the sensed values.
Enclosure
Customized enclosure made of ABS with openings for power supply and integration in the place of operation: curtain, pillow, …
